For a reason, a season or a lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. It is our job to decide or rather figure out which it is and now what we are to do.

They say when someone comes into your life for a REASON, it is because you have a need that you have expressed either outwardly or inwardly. This person comes into your life to assist you through a difficulty or to provide you with wisdom, guidance and to support you physically or emotionally. For whatever reason, they are there when you needed them the most. Then, without reason, without you doing anything wrong, maybe even when it’s not the best time, the relationship is over. This generally means that whatever the reason they came into our lives is now done.

When a person comes into your life for a SEASON, it is because they have come to help you grow, to share and to learn. They may bring you peace or make you laugh. They may help you to do something you have never done before. They bring you huge joy. But like the season’s turn from Winter to Spring to Summer to Fall, the time will come and that season in your life will be done.

With a LIFETIME relationship, these are for a lifetime of lessons. Things that must be built upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. What you need to do is decide to accept the lesson and love the person no matter what. You have to take the lesson they taught you and put it to use in all other relationships. If love is blind then friendship is clairvoyant.
